Tauck’s U.S. National Parks Volunteer
Program – 2010
For the past seven years, guests on our “Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks” journey and our Tauck Bridges “Cowboy Country” family adventure have enjoyed an opportunity to spend approximately 2.5 hours volunteering their efforts to a variety of preservation and rehabilitation projects within our National Parks. First offered in Yellowstone National Park beginning in 2003, our program was relocated in 2009 to Grand Teton National Park, where the need for volunteers had become greater (due in part to the many projects in Yellowstone completed by Tauck volunteers).
In seven years, nearly 12,000 Tauck guests have donated over 21,000 hours of labor to dozens of projects within Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Tauck’s innovative guest-volunteer program has received widespread acclaim and recognition, including being honored with awards from the White House, the U.S. Interior Department and the U.S. Travel Association.
We welcome you to click on the links below to view photos of the volunteers in action. If you participated in the program, we have arranged the photos by the date your tour began, your tour number and Tauck Director's name. Due to space limitations, we are not able to post every picture for every departure, but we hope that you'll enjoy the assortment we've chosen. If your departure is not listed, then we were unfortunately unable to post pictures from your tour.
