  • Private, behind-the-scenes tour of the New Orleans Jazz Museum with historian and Jazz Archive Director Greg Lambousy, with time to explore the jazz collections in the Old U.S. Mint, including instruments played by jazz greats
  • Private lunch featuring Southern specialties at the Little Gem Saloon in the historic 400 block of South Rampart Street, a neighborhood that a young Louis Armstrong once called home
  • Talk by environmental architect Nellie Watson on living below sea level & post-Katrina New Orleans
  • Visits to key sites including Basin Street Station, the Presbytere, St. Louis Cemetery #1, Le Musée de f.p.c., the New Orleans Jazz Museum, Old U.S. Mint, Tremé, Petit Jazz Museum, Preservation Hall and the French Quarter
  • All guests attend lectures outside of the sightseeing tracks and special evening events together
  • Airport transfers upon arrival and departure as noted
