One of the things we like best about our partnership with filmmakers Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan is crafting new tours. Hidden Gems of New England, debuting this month, is one of our newest – and we have to admit, one of our favorites. Travelers on this trip visit so many of the places intertwined with their films – Mark Twain, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, The Civil War, Baseball and The Shakers. And that means they see New England through the eyes of Ken and Dayton – in “Ken’s backyard.”

Throughout this trip, guests watch filmed vignettes by Ken and Dayton that tell behind-the-scenes stories of the people and places that influenced, shaped and defined New England, past and present. Filming these vignettes produced some outtakes that were humorous... take a look at a few that were not part of the final cut!
